Truth is a daughter of Aztec Avalanche, a Peruvian Hemingway son. Heminway is undoubtedly the most famous male to come from Alianza Macusani. Avalanche was exported to the U.K. in 2002 where he stands stud at Classical Mile End Alpacas. Avalanche’s dam, Ppperuvian Snowspirit, an Alianza import, was purchased by Aztec Alpacas in 1998 and since has played a significant role in their breeding program.
Truth’s dam, Tell Serenity is a Victor’s Vaccoyo daughter. Vaccoyo is a full Accoyo son of Pperuvian Victor. In 2002, besides Vaccoyo himself, Serenity had the heaviest shear weight of the entire herd at Tell Tale Farm. Vaccoyo has become one of North America’s best known herdsires, as he consistently transmits his phenomenal fleece characteristics of deep bold crimp and extreme density to his offspring. Sire of show ring champions, both in the United States and Canada, Vaccoyo now resides in Pennsylvania (owned by Sunset Hills Alpacas). Serenity’s dam, Trinity, was one of Jane’s most prized females described by her as exemplifying the highest quality in both conformation and fleece. Both Serenity and Trinity reside at Crescent Moon Ranch in Oregon.
Truth is currently bred to Americano's Keswick - son of Victor's HemiAccoyo Americano - the only Peruvian Victor son still in Canada - for a summer 2011 cria. Americano has sired in excess of 30 crias had an unbelievable 19.6 um at almost SEVEN years of age.
Keswick, Grand Champion Fawn at the '09 Keystone Alpaca Classic, exhibits a very dense, high frequency, bold crimp with an incredible handle - indicative of uniformity and consistency of fibers. Keswick sheared 10 lbs in 2010.
Truth's other offspring:
Americano's HemiAccoyo™ Libra
Americano's HemiAccoyo™ Veracity
Americano's Weston
Truth is also Dam to Tell Truth's Justice and Truth's Baltazar, both sired by Eclipse Alyst.
Truth's crias have amassed numerous awards in the show rings as judged by some of the best show ju
