Gianna is a gorgeous, dense Peruvian import with beautiful soft fleece. Even at her older age, her fleece still exhibits nice crimp. Gianna is an excellent mom and has produced champion offspring including blue ribbon winners, reserve champions and even the grand champion at the Ontario Alpaca Show in 2003. Her cria have ranged in color from light brown to true black to grey. She is a proven producer of excellent cria with outstanding fiber including her 2006 cria, a gorgeous dark brown crimpy-beyond-belief little girl, Peruvian Ivy. Gianna has been bred to our beige full Accoyo 8X champion, Invasion, for a June 2009 cria. We're hoping for dark; but with these two for parents, we're banking on crimpy, soft and dense.
UPDATE - Gianna's daughter, Ivy, just took Reserve Color Champion for her fleece at The New England Coastal Classic!
Her youngest daughter, Peruvian Samantha, a rose-grey girl out of The Scotsman is a multiple blue ribbon winner.

It's with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of CPeruvian Rafael. After a long and happy life of serving the ladies, his heart gave out and he died on March 11, 2009. Thank you Rafael for everything. You were our favorite, always sweet, always proud. We will remember you forever.

Rafael is our perfect gentleman! He has thrown show ring winners in Canada and the United States, such as Winchester and Captain Cuervo, both multiple blue ribbon winners. In the herd, he is THE macho and has a very proud stature : he is truly beautiful to watch.
When imported from Peru, Rafael had a 16.9 micron fleece at 3 years old ! His fineness and extreme density are easily transmited to his offsprings. His fleece is still only 28 microns with a great CV and he shows crimp at 12 years old !
