Best in Show winner Arriba Rio’s first cria have hit the ground - Lazaro, out of SVA’s Lucky Number Seven and a 'gorgeous' solid white girl out of Corona. Lazaro is a truly stunning male with ‘crazy’ fleece coverage. Breeder Lori Jones says she’s, ‘never seen a cria with so much fleece’.
Rio is the only white Qolmesa Nanimo cria to date. Of course, two-time Get of Sire Winner, Nanimo is a well known herd sire who has demonstrated his prepotency; passing on density, luster and incredible crimp to his offspring. With the birth of Rio's first crias, it would appear that he is following in his father’s footsteps.
Rio has numerous awards to his credit including the most recent Alpaca Ontario Spin Off where he took first place - and HIGHEST SCORING WHITE – out of thirteen entries! The spinner commented that, ‘it was a pleasure to spin’ his fiber.

From the Pauco Bloodline. Rainbow is a very tall slender alpaca who is maintaining her fineness with age. She is a great mom with plenty of milk and produces large healthy cria. Her first cria Roan, has a AFD of 18.5 and placed second in class at the Alpaca Ontario Halter Show 2007. The judge commented on how she was very bright, soft and crimpy. Nanimo continues to impress us..whether in the showring or the offspring he produces!
In 2007 9 Nanimo cria were on the ground and we couldn't ask for anything better! He is passing on all of his desired traits to every one of them! Nanimo placed 2nd in Get of Sire out of 15 entries at the Alpaca Ontario Show 2008! Judge commented that this sire is absolutely throwing what you are breeding for! Brightness, Soft Hand, Fineness with Colour. All having a very similar look in conformation and head style.
In 2009, Nanimo won First Place Get of Sire out of 18 entries at the Alpaca Ontario Show - the largest show in Canada!! Once again proving he stamps his progeny with those winning characteristics.
He is the first offspring of MMR Marcoyo and an award winning dam Qolmesa Nayelle.
Marcoyo is a Supreme Champion and also winner of Get of Sire!
